Burrator at Sunset – Dartmoor Landscape Photography

On Sunday I managed to get out about an hour before the sun set and made it to one of my favourite spots on the moors. Very accessible from the road and a well worth the walk up the hill.

I had a request from a customer for a landscape shot of Burrator Reservoir and I thought getting up high would be the best way to capture its vast size and how it sits in the valley surrounded by some of Dartmoor’s most spectacular Tors.

I like to make a feature of the clouds which are a strong feature in this and lots of my landscapes. It give more interest than a clear blue sky in my opinion.

This shot is a 5 picture Ultra Panorama stitched together, our almost square screens don’t really do justice to this format but on a large print or canvas its pretty spectacular.

Please get in touch for prices and print options or alternatively here is my online gallery.
