Trenderway Farm Wedding, Cornwall {Rosie & Steve}

It was my first visit to Trenderway Farm and one I had been particularly looking forward to since I meet up with Steve & Rosie for their pre wedding meeting a few weeks prior to the wedding. Its always nice to find new venue, what struck me was how attentive and genuinely caring Jacqueline the wedding organiser was though out the whole process. A venue that I’m sure will continue to grow and thrive as word gets around.
After a fairly rainy week in the run up to the day we had prepared ourselves for a wetter day but on waking up in the morning we were really pleased to see the mist from the day before had lifted and we had a 12 hour window of good weather which was welcome news. This meant we could make the most of the wonderful surroundings of the farm, not too far form the coast at Polperro.

When I arrived preparations were well under way as we had and earlier 11.30am ceremony,  This allowed for a relaxed pace to the day with lots of time for photos, drinks, garden games, post dinner live music, a live band and a hog roast at the end of the day. The speeches went down really well with some big laughs from both Steve who set up his best man to deliver an equally funny round 2.

We went out into the gardens after the speeches where it had clouded over a little. This made little difference to the spectacular setting which hopefully you can see in the below photos.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a few weddings for Steve’s family, his extended family and friends which meant there were lots of familiar face around all day and it was good to catch up with them all.  I was made to feel really welcome, was well was looked after and I really felt part of things. This familiarity allows me to mingle and blend in, giving me the opportunity to get some more candid observational shots of the guests

Congratulations Rosie & Steve
