Kingston Estate Staverton, Devon – {Elaine & Dan}

A few weekends ago I covered my first wedding at the Kingston Estate, Staverton, Totnes, Devon. The venue is new to the wedding scene and certainly delivers on ‘Wow factor’ with its incredible gardens. At every turn I found a new location for some fantastic bride and groom shots.

Elaine looked incredible as I’m sure you’ll agree when scrolling down to the photos. The dress definitely turned heads and I overheard lots of guests commenting on how amazing they thought it was.

The wedding had a nice familiar feel to it for me, as at least 4 guests were couples who’s weddings i’d covered over the past few years, as well as several past bridesmaids, Elaine herself a previous bridesmaid. This ensured she knew my approach to the day and the unobtrusive way in which I work. Hopefully this allowed her one less thing to worry about on a very busy morning.

Dan who has grown up in and played top level rugby meant most of his male friends were of a similar background. Anyone who has spent time with a group of Rugby lads know they are not known for being shy wall flowers. This proved great for some fun photos, even several groups insisting on selfies with myself which was great. Although i’m not sure it wasn’t part of some sort of drinking game such as ‘Get a photo with the photographer’ 🙂

A great day and one i’ll remember for a long time to come.

Below are a few very brief highlights, lots more to come.
